St Giles Hospice Shops raise vital funds for the hospice by selling a range of high quality new and donated goods. The seventeen shops are based in the Midlands area of the UK.

They include a superstore in Mere Green - Sutton Coldfield, a bridal shop in Swadlincote and four specialist bookshops situated in Atherstone, Lichfield, Mere Green and Uttoxeter.

The Compassus Centre is a state-of-the-art new in-patient care facility at St Giles Hospice in Whittington.

Named after the Latin word meaning ‘a deep awareness of other people’s suffering coupled with the wish to relieve it’, the 27-bed Compassus Centre has been built in response to increased demand from local people for our free specialist care.

The £8.5 million facility aims to provide maximum comfort and convenience for patients and their loved ones, and comprises 17 spacious private rooms with en-suite bathrooms and three multi-occupation wards for those who prefer the company of others.

Patients can enjoy access to private or communal gardens and terraces, and there is a special room in which family members can make an overnight stay should they wish to.

The Compassus Centre also offers the latest high-tech medical and care equipment, and benefits from a host of eco-friendly features
