WELCOME TO MY WEBPAGE HERE YOU WILL FIND OUT WHAT I DO AND THE SPARES FOR HORNBY I CARRY (i supply in the uk please check if unsure)

I do spares/repairs for Hornby locomotives (Hornby margate)not(Hornby mecanno liverpool or Hornby Dublo) ranging from pre china (1970's through to 1990's) to post china manufacture. The main difference being english manufacture is 50% loco drive and 50% tender drive whereas china manufacture focuses on super detail loco drive models. i am able to supply detail lists of parts i carry for a type of engine i.e class 58 spares *some of these will be replica parts as hornby sometimes is not available. hornby 3 pole and 5 pole ringfields are seperate units parts from these are not interchangable without modification which i do not carry out but others do. i do though offer an exchange service for a 3 pole to a 5 pole which will fit into the bogie/tender frames on most engines. Now offering a DCC fitting service to all Triang models X-04,X-03,X-05

and motor bogie unit i.e class 31/37

i can offer A REPAIR (MAINLY HORNBY) service but for an up to date spares list send a sae this is also free with an order of spares. services are all done on the basis of an estimate which can be asked for before any work is done. All work is guarantied. all the parts listed below are mainly second hand spares which are in good condition and can be used again. layouts can be built and designed if desired in both N Gauge and 00 scale. lists of some second hand 00 gauge triang and hornby can supplied via email

Hornby class 58 drive units (motor available in two types of mounting) type £12 - £15 each. most parts are available seperately refered as assembly number x1737a/x1737b. also pacer class 142 dmu assembly drive unit or networker unit

new motors for hornby class 58 uprated and upgraded type 7 open side motors £5.00 each (no modifications required) will fit earlier block type (also fits SSPP 0-6-0t i.e Thomas/duck/james/jinty,j72,j52,gwr pannier,cl08.) new motor can type for 0-4-0 tank fits various from £2.00 each

Hornby or Triang use X-04 or x-03 motors a quantity of good running motors x10 available £15.00 each (No exchange required) complete with good brushes and spring and serviced some x-04 parts armitures, original magnets available

Hornby type Smoke deflectors several types available @ £2.00 per pair all Hornby types of deflectors in stock replica will fit hornby no bachmann types

Hornby motor brushes and springs for all Ringfield drive units suit 5 pole or 3 pole 80p a brush and 80p per spring (each Ringfield motor requires a pair of each). Hornby Ringfield traction tyres small and large. small £0.50p each large 80p each also sspp (type 7 powered engines)traction tyres and other types available.

Hornby Dublo 3 rail track from a £1.00 each large 17" radius and 15" smaller radius curves, short straight and some Double straight and long and half curves 15" radius also. points £3.00 each (can be supplied with insulating tabs if required) also fixings for putting 3 rail track onto a board available in packs(some spares for 3-rail engines and 2 rail also )

Lima 00/ho scale steel straight sections n3020 length 22.3 cm long and lima double straight (similar to hornby r601) 90p each. nickel silver lima track 00 scale n3021 30p each n3035 50p, available in bulk lots or individual steel 1st radius 50p - £1.00 each. 2nd radius from 40p each and 3rd radius curves 50p each in stock (lima track steel type works really well with triang type wheels and adds the use of magnadhesion to!)all lima steel track come with phosphur bronze fishplates
