Gorgeous Crystal Necklace

A very pretty crystal glass necklace. This sparkles and sparkles and sparkles, basically because the crystals are long, not quite 1/2 inch across by 1/4 inch deep. They are facet cut and have sides. These are heavily AB coated so the crystals sparkle with many colours. Ever so pretty. There are three strands altogether and another lovely feature of this necklace is the beautiful clasp. This is gold plated although it now has an aged patina consistent with age and wear. The top part is decorated with same crystals, but standing o their ends, forming a 3-d flower shape. They are in pairs with each pair having a glass clear spacer between them which sits at the top of the pair. Flower decoration is not quite 1 inch across. Clasp is a push in/pull out lever type. Crystals are attached to the clasp via metal links and each has a small glass spacer between. Ever so pretty and in very good vintage condition.

Glass Bead Necklace

This is a fabulous necklace, being made from lots of rows of glass beads. Beads across the back and upper sides are round and they are in two sizes, one just slightly larger than the other. Beads are semi transparent and they are swirled with lots of shades of blue, from light to darker blue. There are 6 rows in total, each capped at the clasp ends by gold plated ball like caps. The clasp is big, being a lobster claw type. It has a big lever for ease of opening and the clasp is etched with decoration. Necklace is just over 14 inches in length and it is meant to be worn up against the neck to show off the bib like front. Across the front the depth is approx. 1 3/4 inches deep. Some unusual bead types at the front. Lots looking like oblongs but with curved corners. They are polished flat on the backs but the front has facet cuts, making them look as though they are three beads sitting on beneath the other, although these are all in the same oblong shape. These beads are swirled with blue too and there are smaller leaf like glass beads every now and then that jut outwards from the bib. Effect is very pretty and the necklace does sparkle with the light hits. There are four gold plated bars across the front keeping all the rows together. Unusual but lovely and in great shape.

Huge Brooch

Firstly, the brooch is not scratched. Any scratches are on my scanner glass. The petals are though etched with vein like decoration. The brooch is made from gold plated metalwork and it is approx. 3 1/2 inches across. The petals tilt downwards to the centre of the brooch and here is a dome, approx. 2 inches across, with is covered with round amber rhinestones, all prong set. At the very top of the dome is a huge deep honey round facet cut rhinestone, approx. 1 inch across. The stone is open backed and foiled. Brooch is not signed but I purchased this in France. The pin is long and has a C clasp but there is a little cap of metal which you pull out to release the pin and push back in to close with a safety lock. This does work but the C part forming this has bent downwards slightly. If you have the skills this can be rectified, but as I say, the clasp does still work. A gorgeous brooch which reminds me of either a beautiful Sunflower or a big eye! Not scratched and much more impressive in real life.

Interesting Black & Silver Necklace

A very stylish necklace which although has a deco appearance, probably is later. The beads are plastics with large black beads which are round and cut in half. Inserted between the two halves in a large round matt silver bead. The necklace is approx. 16 inches in length but it has an extension length which is another 2 inches or so long. This is made from silver tone chain length and terminates with an elongated black bead. The clasp is a sturdy silver tone fish hook. The necklace appears to be strung on wire. In very good vintage condition.

Big Cats - 1 Brooch & 1 Bracelet

2 Big Cat, both similar in shape and both approx. 7 1/2 inches in length. Both fully articulated but one is a brooch and the other is a bracelet. Brooch is the silver tone item which is the first cat (left hand side). This looks fantastic draped over the shoulder and it has two clasps to secure it in place. Big green navettes for eyes, the cat is studded with lots of small clear pave set rhinestones and metal is cut to resemble marcasites. Beautiful. Price £15.00

Bracelet is the cat, uppermost in picture. This is gold plated. Two green navettes for eyes. Cat is studded with pave set round clear rhinestones. Push in/pull out lever clasp with the clasp being the cat's mouth. Bracelet looks fantastic when being worn and is very comfortable. Price £15.00.

Designer Bracelets

2 fantastic designer bracelets.

First bracelet is approx. 1 inch deep and have big facet cuts. Each facet is a large triangular shape. Very chunky in appearance and looks fantastic when on the wrist. You pass this over the hand onto the wrist. Fits an average size of wrist.

The second bracelet is thick, approx. 1/2 inch deep, but as you can see from the picture one side steps up from the other. The bracelet has a wide flat shape, just over 1/2 inch across. Gap for your hand or wrist is approx. 2 3/4 inches across measured from side to side on the inside of the band.

The metalwork looks like chrome or similar but I am not sure what these made from. Finally, these are designer items. I have seen these very rarely on auction sights but I forget the designer's name.

Gorgeous Necklace & Earrings

A gorgeous necklace and earrings set made from silver tone metalwork. Necklace has big round silvery faux pearls with great lustre. It is approx. 15 inches in length and secures with a silver tone fold over clasp. Clasp has metal disks or disk like decoration either side Along the length of faux pearls at regular intervals there are metal rondels and these have metalwork cut to look like tiny marcasites. Also, they have a number of tiny tiny clear pave set rhinestones. At the front there is a large open worked flower with big faux pearl, pave set at the centre. This flower is approx. 1 1/2 inch across. All the bands of silver tone metalwork are pave set with tiny tiny clear rhinestones. Metalwork is cut to resemble tiny rhinestones. This looks like a KJ Lane piece to me but I notice it says CC on the back of the pendant. Earrings are clip ons, approx. 3/4 inches across, being a smaller and less complicated design as per the central of the necklace already described. In very good condition.

Gorgeous Necklace with Grey Hanks

A very stylish necklace which has a beautiful silver tone filigree worked box clasp, approx. 1 inch square. Necklace has lots of strands of steely grey spacers, all glass and all sparkling as they catch the light. These are divided into three hanks with silver tone caps. Necklace, of course, hangs beautifully around the neck, but it is spread out on my scanner glass for this picture, so this distorts how it looks when being worn! Hanks form a band which is approx. 1 1/4 inches wide. Has a very good weight but comfortable to wear. Just gorgeous.

Deco Necklace

A great original deco necklace. The necklace is just over 14 inches in length but this does not include the dangle drop. It has what looks to me like a replacement clasp. This is not unusual since clasps do get the most wear and they do break or just wear out! The necklace length has small black beads linked to opaline looking round beads. The black beads are slightly elongated and they are facet cut whilst the opaline beads are smooth. They run basically in pairs of black with an opaline bead between. Separating these groups are elongated flat bands of antique silver tone, approx. 3/4 inches across by 1/4 inch deep. These have a ribbed pattern on both sides with an X at the centre. At the centre and hanging from a round black bead is a small black disk, approx. 3/4 inches across. This could well be bakelite but not sure since it has not been tested. Over this on the front side sits a triangular shape of antique silver tone metal with an etched design, somewhat like an abstract flower. From the lower end there are five little springs attached, each supporting a long bar of antique silver tone metal. Dangle is apporx. 2 inch in length by 1 inch across. Very attractive and in very good vintage condition, but does have a replacement clasp.

Interesting Tassel Necklace

Very attractive necklace which has corded lengths forming the necklace length. There are two cords with are knotted at the back and they knot again just above the round pendant. You can therefore adjust the length but as is the necklace is approx. 28 inches in length. The cording forms a pattern over the pendant as it pierces it and terminates at the centre bottom with a big black tassel. Tassel has two gold tone bars around the top. These now have an aged patina. The pendant is approx. 2 1/2 inches across and approx. 1/8th inch thick made from some kind of plastic. It is very pretty because it has marbled tones of brown, lighter and darker, and then seem to glow when the light hits. On the pendant, front side, are four leaf shapes, very well detailed and made from gold plated metalwork. These are set into the plastic and each has a small round clear rhinestone at the top. In very good condition.

Gorgeous Glass Necklace

This is a very lovely necklace, made from pale blue glass crystals. It is a Heide Daus item, but it is unsigned. However, similar examples, if not this style, can be found on her website. The necklace is approx. 16 inches in length but has an extension so it can be shortened. The extension is very decorative in its own right and it secures with a fish hook clasp, the other end terminating with a blue crystal. There are five rows of crystals on one side which attach to a decorative bar, very similar in design to the extension length. The bar is approx. 1 1/4 inches in length. There is a similar bar on the other side of the necklace but this is not so long, approx. 1 inch, because on that side the necklace has three rows of crystals only. Both lengths attach to a very large decorative metal shape which on closer inspection you can see is a spray of flowers and leaves. This is approx. 3 inches across by 4 inches, set at a slight angle. This shape is studded with lots of pale blue round rhinestones as well as amber stones. Frow the underside of the shape the five rows of crystals continue downwards for another 7 inches, although that is the length of the longest crystal length. Each row is slightly shorter. Each terminates with a gorgeous pear shaped blue facet cut crystal, approx. 1 inch long and 1/2 inch deep. Above each terminating crystal there is a metal petal shaped cap set with tiny pale blue pave set rhinestones. This is a spectacular necklace and when on it looks tremendous. The light hits the crystals and boy, does it sparkle. Not a low priced piece, but if you do find examples of her work, you will see just how expensive they are. This is retailing at the price I originally paid, 2 years or so ago.

Confetti Lucite & Rhinestones Necklace

This is a designer necklace with cab like confetti lucite shapes, navettes and amber or gold round rhinestones. Each panel also has a pair of gold coloured navettes. Necklace is approx. 1 inch deep and approx. 16 inches in length. Has a fish hook clasp. This is signed Charel. Much much nicer in person.
