Pendant Necklace, Lady HeadA very attractive necklace which has a large pewter like pendant fixed at the centre. Neckace is approx. 16 inches in length made from initially a short length across the back of various glass crystals. Most are diamond shaped and most are AB coated, sparkling with all colours, but there are three large round pale pink crystal plus 4 smaller such crystals. Each end of this length has a silver tone small lobster claw clasp so you can secure or release on both sides. The remainder of the necklace length has very decorative scroll metal shapes, silver tone, each japaned but with small silver balls looking like marcasites. Each also have a pair of small round amber rhinestones as well as a pair of black stones. Pendant is approx. 3 inches in length by 2 inches across. It has an open worked design with the lady's head, side view, on an oval plaque which is aprpox. 1 1/2 inches long by just over 1 inch across. The lady has long hair and she is in relief. I notice upon close up inspection that one small amber stone is missing. Not noticed until you examine every part. Simple repair though but my replacement amber stones are all too large. Other than the missing stone, in very good condition.  |
Beautiful Pink & Lavendar NecklaceAnother Wow piece! This is more contemporary than some but once again a real beauty. Made from beads in pink and lavendar as well are small round facet cut glass crystals which are purple, AB coated so they sparkle with other colours. Pink beads are round and facet cut like crystals and these appear to be glass. There are more pink beads, disk shaped and these are some kind of plastic. The big lavendar beads are plastic. When around the neck, the necklace sits beautifully but difficult to get a decent picture on my scanner. The beads moved at the crucial moment! Necklace is approx. 16 inches in length with a lobster claw clasp so it is adjustable. At the centre there is a huge pendant, deep purple-pink and aprpox. 2 inches across the lower end but just over 1/2 inch wide at the top part. This pendant is thick, approx. 1/2 inch dee when viewed from the side and it is facet cut with a flat polished top. It is approx. 2 1/2 inches in length. Made from Goliath plastic. Ever so pretty. Bag with Tons of BeadsA gorgeous bag which has tons of beads. This is a more contemporary item, done in the deco style. It has an antique gold tone frame with big ball like double clasp. The frame is approx. 4 1/2 inches across but the body of the bag is approx. 8 inches across. The frame has an antique gold tone chain link length and this is approx. 10 inches in length either side. Very difficult colour to describe, somewhat like a like pinkish russet tone but ever so pretty and more vibrant in real life. Bag has rows and rows of spacer beads, all barrel shaped and all having a metallic appearance. The beads sparkle and sparkle. Along the edge of the bag the beads are in loops. Inside is lined with satin like fabric in a deep russet colour. Ever so pretty and in great shape.  Bag with Tons of Beads |
Necklace & BraceletPurples & Greens are the colours in this very attractive necklace and earrings set. The pieces have always been together and I believe they are a set, but I could be incorrect on this point. Anyway, they go beautifully together. Necklace is approx. 16 inches in length. Bracelet elasticated so fits most sizes although looks best when the elastic is not stretched too far. Gorgeous colours and in very good to excellent condition. Turquoise Cab NecklaceA very attractive necklace made from panels of filigree silver tone metalwork, having an antique appearance. Each panel has a large oval turquoise blue cab bead, which is lightly marbled. Necklace is approx. 15 inches in length including the extension and it secures with a sturdy fish hook clasp. Panels are all linked to one another and each is approx. 1 inch deep. Very attractive and in very good condition.  Turquoise Cab Necklace |
Pretty Silver Set with Black/PinkA very pretty set comprising a pendant necklace with matching ring and earrings. All pieces are silver. Marked 925 for silver. Pendant is on a rope like twisted chain link length which is approx. 16 inches in length. Pendant is approx. 1 inch by 3/4 inches with a large oval cab like centre. This is enamelled black with tiny pink flowers. At least the centres are deep pink with little white dots representing petals. When you look more closely you can see the dots are actually silver. Earrings are the same as the pendant but on a large pear shaped bail which has black enamelling too. These are for pierced ears and they have a drop of approx. 2 inches. Ring is the same with gap for your ring approx. 5/8th inch across. Much nicer in person because it is difficult to see the design. Pendant does have a scratch like mark which does not detract in my opinion. You need to look at it close up to really see it.  Pretty Silver Set with Black/Pink |
Black Necklace & Earrings Set, RhinestonesA lovely necklace which has three rows of black round beads, glass and all separated by silver tone spacers. Necklace is approx. 18 inches in length. It secures with a silver tone fold over clasp with decorative bars either side. Necklace has a silver tone flower to one side and this is decorated with lots of cuts looking like tiny marcasites as well as a cluster of clear rhinestones at the centre and single rhinestones dotted over the flower, all pave set. There is a silver tone leaf shape at the other side. Earrings are clip ons having a smaller flower in silver tone with rhinestones and from this dangles three rows of black beads. Earrings are approx. 3/4 inches across and 1 1/2 inches in drop. Very pretty and in very good to excellent condition.  Black Necklace & Earrings Set with Rhinestone Decoration |
Black & Cream Bakelite NecklaceA gorgeous necklace which secures with a silver tone barrel clasp. Necklace is approx. 15 inches in length. Beads are cubed with four sides with black background but each side is decorated with a flower which fills the side more or less completely. These flowers are cream in colour and are carved into the cubes I believe. Each is separated by a small diamond shaped milk glass spacer. I believe these beads are bakelite. I have not tested them but I purchased the necklace originally as bakelite from a reputable dealer. Very attractive and in very good vintage condition. Gorgeous Philippe Audibert Paris NecklaceA gorgeous Philippe Audibert Paris, long length Glass Bead Necklace. 26 inches approx. in length. Deep blue with some beads cut in half and separated by smaller round bead. This designer's work is sold in Harrods in London. In very good to excellent condition. Spectacular Bibby Faux Pearl NecklaceA gorgeous Brushed Gold Plated bibby necklace, approx. 16 inches in length. Over 2 inches deep. Brushed metalwork and secures with a fish hook clasp. Difficult to show you how this really looks because it needs a mannequin to display it to its best advantage. All I can say it is gorgeous and much much nicer in person. Silvery faux pearls. Bakelite Brooch with Silver BackA gorgeous bakelite brooch which has layers and layers making up the thickness of the brooch. The back is metal and looks to me very much like real silver, although not signed that I can see. This is an old piece, probably from the deco era. Bibby Necklace & EarringsA very pretty set which is so much nicer in person. The light has bounced back from my camera and interferes with the resultant picture. I repeat, so much nicer in person. Necklace is approx. 16 inches in length and has silver tone chain links. It secures with a lobster claw clasp and there is a tag at the clasp end which says Mira. I have seen other examples of Mira's work and pieces are expensive when purchased new. The pearls have a lovely lustre and they are round in a light coppery colour. All are linked together with smaller round faux pearls acting as spacers. Across the front spanning approx. 8 inches there are dangles. Some are longer than others with the longest being approx. 3 inches. These particular dangles are the most complex, having three sizes of coppery faux pearls linked to one another. The last is egg shaped and this has a silver tone filigree cap at the top end. To the lower end is attached a much larger filigree silver tone cap, looking like a lampshade or bowl, and at the centre of this is another large faux pearl. Around the ends of the petal like shapes are dangles with very small and larger round faux pearls. Ever so pretty. Small dangles which run alternatively, have a very small faux pearl, a larger round faux pearl and then an irregular shaped clear lucite or plastic bead, looking a bit like a cube of ice that is melting. The larger faux pearls are a pinkish coppery colour. Matching earrings are for pierced ears and these have a drop of approx. 1 1/2 inches. In great shape.
