Tremendous Set

This is a fabulous set and if you like bold, bold and bold, this is for you! Made from silver tone metalwork, the set comprises a necklace, matching long dripping earrings and a big ring. Necklace is approx. 20 inches in length but it has two lengths of chain link each approx. 6 inches long so you can adjust how you want. The front panels, which span approx. 8 inches are worn up against the throat. This are approx. 1 inch deep and shaped and each is linked top and bottom to its neighbour with double links. You cannot see these from the front. Panels are not quite 1 1/2 inches across and there are five. At the ends of the panel length there is a small shaped panel. All panels are pave set with tons of bright round clear sparkling rhinestones. Metalwork is cut to resemble tiny marcasites. Each oblong panel has two large round light blue rhinestones, facet cut and prong set. These are open backed and foiled. The end panels have one blue stone each. Each panel has a large drop made from silver tone metal and set with clear pave rhinestones. At the centre there is a blue round prong set stone. Dangling from the ends of this shape are little azure blue glass crystals, diamond shaped and capped with a tiny silver cap. More of these dangle each side of the pendant drop. The pendant drop makes the necklace approx. 2 inches deep at this point. Simply stunning! Matching earrings are for pierced ears. These are approx. 3 inches in drop. They have a pendant at the end, a round shape at the centre and a shape the same as for the ends of the necklace. Again all are pave set and have blue rhinestones and blue crystal dangles. Ring is shaped like the end panels of the necklace. It is approx. 1 inch across and deep and again has pave set rhinestones with a single blue large prong set stone. Gap for your finger is approx. 5/8th inch across, measured from band to band, inside measurement. A stunning set indeed in great shape.

Gorgeous Brooch Earrings by La Roca

Fantastic brooch and earrings set made from rhodium plated metalwork. Earrings are clip ons. Brooch is huge, approx. 3 1/2 inches across set with gorgeous large. Some are a lovely cerise colour and others are AB coated so they sparkle with all colours including lavendar, pink, turquoise, gold, etc. depending upon the light. Signed La Roca. Fabulous set in very good to excellent condition.

Amber Rhinestone Necklace

Very pretty necklace which is made from gold plated metalwork being approx. 14 inches in length. This has a fold over clasp. Necklace has large round amber prong set rhinestones with smaller round amber stones around the central stone. These form "eye" shapes but are actually the continuous rows of stones crossing over one another either side of the large stones. All stones are present, bright and sparkling. Very pretty.

A beautiful necklace with black and clear stones at the front. Necklace is made from gold plated metalwork. Approx. 16 inches in length securing with a fish hook clasp. Large double links. Across the front, approx. 4 inches in span, are oval black rhinestones, prong set. These are set one per chain link. Beneath these hangs a large clear round facet cut rhinestone. Very pretty and very sparkling. In very good vintage condition.

Wendy Gell Necklace/Brooch

A stunning necklace which is also a brooch by Wendy Gell. Wendy Gell made big bold pieces and her work is very collectible. She operated during the 1960's/1970's and then stopped working on jewellery. However, she has started up again and her work is just as beautiful as ever. This item originally cost over £150.00 so my price is very good, considering her work is very very collectible. The necklace has a gold plated chain link length which forms a band approx. 1/4 inch thick. This is approx. 7 inches in length down each side. Another 2 inches spans the back of the pendant so in total the chain is approx. 16 inches in length. It secures with a lobster claw clasp and there is a metal tag at the clasp which is stamped Wendy Gell. The pendant or brooch is approx. 3 1/4 inches across by 3 inches deep. It has a large clasp on the back and the chain is easily removed through two big loops if you want to wear the pendant as a brooch. As with all Wendy Gell items, all the stones are quite beautiful and they are all pave set. The frame is gold plated and at the centre there is a gorgeous heart, oyster in colour with a beautiful iridisent lustre. Either side are half circular stones in green, facet cut. To the top of the heart there are pear shaped rhinestones in amber and either side of those there is a pair of large pear shaped faux pearls, oyster again in colour. To the sides of the faux pearls just described there is a wonderful shell shape, glass and this appears clear or frosted, depending upon the light. The pendant has more faux pearls, pear shaped but smaller than the previous faux pearls mentioned. There are two cerise stones having a moonstone appear and also a clear moonstone type of stone which sparkles with many colours. At the very centre there is a slender and long purple navette. Finally, dotted over the arrangement are small round clear rhinestones, some of which are AB coated. Signed again, Wendy Gell, on a plaque on the back of the pendant. A super super piece in great shape.

A gorgeous dangling rhinestone necklace and matching earrings set. Pieces are gold plated and the necklace is approx. 15 inches in length. Secures with a lobster claw clasp so you can adjust to suit. Spanning the front, 8 inches or thereabouts, there are bright sparkling clear round rhinestones, all pave set into cups of metalwork. Stones are rivoli types having all facets forming a shallow point at the centre of each stone. Smallest is approx. 1/4 inch across with the largest at the centre being 1/2 inch across. There are five dangles at the front with the central dangle being the longest at approx. 2 inches. Matching earrings are clip ons and these are approx. 1/2 inch by 1 inch. Each has a large clear rhinestone. This is a very very sparkling set. In very good to excellent condition.

Fantastic Bracelet

If you see another bracelet like this one, I will eat my hat! A magnificient work of art which looks stunning when on the wrist. This piece is by

David Mandel and on the inside of the gold plated metal cuff it says "The Show Must Go On" on a small plaque. The designer's name is not present, but this was made by David Mandel. The bracelet looks very much like Vrba and other high quality, top end designers. This is a trembler bracelet which in itself is very unusual. Such pieces are usually associated with brooches and perhaps very rarely necklaces. The cuff is approx. 3/4 inches deep and made from thick metalwork. It fits an average size wrist. Covering the whole bracelet, but more so on the front, are leaf shapes, all extremely well detailed in appearance. These are all in relief and many of them have tiny dark green round rhinestones dotted over the edges of their shape, all prong set. What makes this spectacular though are the trembling flowers. There are four of these and each is on a spring. They are large with the largest being approx. 1 inch deep across the flower head part and approx. 1 1/2 inches in length. The other three are slightly smaller. At the part where the flower would join the stem there are lots of tiny deep green prong set rhinestones forming the cup part of the flower. These are raised above the flower part. The flower section is covered with lavendar round rhinestones, prong set, with navettes at the end of the flowers. The larger flower has puprple pear shapes stones at the end with a round stone between. When you study closely you can see that one of the smaller flowers does not have the green stone cup. In fact, you can see lots of differences when you study closely. I notice there are some lighter green round rhinestones too. The whole bracelet is tremendous, covered with tones of stones. I am running out of things to say about this piece, except it is exceptional and I have never seen another like it!

A gorgeous necklace made from gold plated metalwork. Unsigned, but a designer piece. Necklace is approx. 1 inch deep and secures with a gold over clasp. Neckace has figure of 8 kind of decoration but there are 3 sections and not 2. Each has a raised dot of metalwork, except across the front where the dots are replaced with pave set clear rhinestones. Rhinestone panels span approx. 5 inches across the front. Very good quality with a good weight. In great shape and looks fab when being worn.

Big Bold Necklace with Rhinestone Panels

This necklace is long as as such I have had to squeeze in onto my scanner glass for a photograph. In real life this hangs much nicer than my picture shows. The necklace is made from large oblong gold plated links which are very substantial. The necklace is approx. 28 inches in length and it secures with a substantial lever clasp with has a clear bright sparkling large oblong rhinestone, prong set, either side. Down the sides of the necklace, nearing the front, there are two panels and these are set with bright sparkling rhinestones, all clear and all prong set. The largest is oval and this is approx. 1/2 inch deep by 3/4 inches across. There are square, round and pear shaped stones too and finally there are a pair of small round faux pearls. This is a dazzling piece which needs to be seen in person to be appreciated. In great shape. An unsigned designer piece which I purchased originally in France.
