What can I say about this set, except fantastic. Set comprises necklace, bracelet and earrings, all made from rhodium plated metalwork. Bracelet is wide, approx. 1 inch across with two rows of large milk glass navettes, all prong set. Medium sized round milk glass beads down the centre. Wold over clasp, signed Weiss. Earrings are large, approx. 1/2 inch across by 1 1/2 inches in length. These are clip ons with a row of navettes and round stones, all prong set. Signed Weiss on the back of the clips. Necklace approx. 16 inches in length with stones along entire length. Fish hook clasp and signed Weiss on the larger round bead at the opposite end. Front decoration spans approx. 5 inches and has large round stones and navettes, making the front approx. 1 inch deep. A gorgeous set in very good to excellent vintage condition.

Spectacular Cuff Bracelet by Vrba

Firstly, the scratches are NOT ON THIS BRACELET. They are on my glass scanner which I use to take pictures. This is a magnificent bracelet. It has a wide band which is approx. 1 1/2 inches deep. Metalwork is gold plated and the band is not solid, but constructed from many many strands of gold. They are stretched over the framework and are quite solid. The cuff "hooks" over the wrist and there is a gap at the back which is just about 1 1/4 inches wide. It is easy to get onto the wrist and when on, well, boy oh boy oh boy. The huge decoration at the front just cannot fail to get noticed. This is made from antique silver tone metalwork and has four shapes which form a diamond shape or square shape. Between each shape there is a large clear navette, prong set. At the centre there is a hug turquoise blue cab which stands approx. 1/2 inch high from its setting. There are similar cabs on each metal shape, but these are smaller and are coral, not turquoise blue. At the end of each shape, just above the coral cabs, there is a round turquoise blue bead, mottled and prong set. The decoration is approx. 3 inches across and deep and certainly makes a statement. The metal cuff can be squeezed in a little and open out a fraction. Not a lot of "give" but enough to help if you want the bracelet to "hug" your wrist a little more. Fits an average size of wrist. A real beauty, this is signed Lawrence Vrba on the back of one of the stone. Tricky to see initially, but once you find it, it is easily read.

Black & White Necklace

Fantastic Necklace which is over 24 inches in length having two closely woven chain lengths, gold plated and being approx. 1/4 inch wide each one. This necklace has a Haskell look in my opinion. Very unusual beads across the front form three large hoops which are joined by gold plated fancy beads, themselves forming smaller hoops linking the black and white beads together. A great necklace.

Beautiful Glass Beaded Necklace

A beautiful necklace for those of you who like Big! Necklace length is approx. 16 inches but this does not include all the dangles at the front. Necklace has five strands of small round black beads across the back but these soon are decorated with larger round beads. There are round turquoise blue beads, round but flatten bright red beads and clear smaller round beads, tinted turquoise blue. All are glass and these all have tiny silver spacer at their ends. There are silver tone spacers along the necklace too where all the coloured beads are attached. The necklace has silver spacers at the clasp ends which disappear into long silver tone cones to which the clasp is attached. Clasp is a sturdy silver tone fish hook type. The coloured beads are attached forming a rondel around the necklace lengths making the necklace just over 1 inch deep. Down each side there is a large black heart shape, made from some kind of plastic. You can just see these in my picture. The rows of beads run across these shapes. They do have some light scratches on the backs, consistent with wear but nothing serious and since you do not see the backs of the shapes when the necklace is worn, unnoticeable. At the front all the rows form long dangles, approx. 6 inches in length. There are lots of these incorporating loads of beads. Each terminates with a larger round black facet cut bead. All beads are glass. This is a real stunner. Has a good weight but very comfortable when around the neck. In very good condition.

Unusual Necklace & Earrings Set

A very unusual necklace and earrings set. Made from pale gold tone metalwork, the necklace has a textured and double linked chain length which is approx. 16 inches including the extension. It secures with a lobster claw clasp. Spanning the front 6 inches or so there are pale gold tone beads, roughly round in shape but not quite and these are facet cut to catch the light. These are mixed in with round glass deep honey coloured beads, facet cut and light amber heavily AB coated plastic beads. There are smaller metal facet cut beads which are coppery in colour as well as other small round facet cut blass beads heavily AB coated. There are lots of colours sparkling away in this necklace and earrings set. All these little dangles hang from a chain. Across the very front, approx. 3 inches in span, there are lots of felt flowers. These are supported on filigree caps which you can see at the back of the flowers. Flowers range from 3/4 inch across to the largest at the centre which is just over 1 inch across. Each has two or more colours made from different pieces of felt. Some flowers are deep maroon with tan on top. Others are deep green with lighter green. The central flower has a mottled first layer which is beige with brown and black and over that is a maroon layer and finally a tan top. All are set at the centre with round beads which are capped. Much more vibrant in person. Earrings are for pierced ears. These have a felt flower at the top with a chain link length supporting lots of different beads which dangle. Earrings are approx. 2 1/2 inches in drop. In very good condition.

Big Pendant Necklace

A necklace made from silver tone metalwork having a rope like band which is just short of 1/2 inch wide. Clasp is at the front making it simple to put this item on around the neck. The necklace is approx. 15 inches in length, measured along the length of the rope like band. Pendant is made from silver tone metal too and this has two sections. The small oblong section at the top is aprpox. 1 inch by 1/2 inch and this has a dark blue enamelled panel at the centre. Around this is a row of clear prong set rhinestones. The larger panel is the same, but larger, being approx. 1 1/2 inches across by 1 3/4 inches in length. Difficult to capture the true blue colour of the enamelling. The rhinestones are sparkling and all are present. However, this necklace is an older contemporary pieces so the stones are not bright white like new modern pieces. Much nicer in person though and in very good condition.

Big & Bold Colourful Set

A big and bold colourful necklace and earring set. Beads are disk shaped, approx. 1 inch across and these are made from good quality plastic. The earrings are for pierced ears with silver tone metalwork and these are in a gorgeous cerise colour. All colours are much more vibrant in real life. Necklace does not have a clasp since it will easily slip over the head. It is approx. 32 inches in length and each disk bead slightly sits over the next. Colours are white, yellow, cerise, medium bright leaf green, deep mocca and a deep purplish maroon colour. Great colour combination. Ever so attractive and in very good condition.

Butler & Wilson Handbag

A fantastic handbag by Butler & Wilson. Their name appears on the inside on the vanity pocket. Inside is lined with black satin type fabric. Bag has a velvet body which is black and the bag has a chrome or chrome like frame, very elaborate with tiara like decoration which is approx. 2 inches deep and 1 inch deep at each end, which slightly curves around the shaped band of the frame. This decoration is studded with lots of large round clear rhinestones, some AB coated so they sparkle with all colours. Other stones are rivoli (all facets meeting at the centre in a point). There are oblong stones too. All are present, bright and sparkling and pave set. Large butterfly shaped clasp at the front, also decorated with rhinestones, which you lift to open the bag. Bag is 8 inches across the lower end and approx. the same in depth, including the ornate frame. Much much nicer in person.

I also have another one of these bags which has a deep red velvet body. Some are in many colours. Please email me for picture. Both these bags are unused and in a new condition. Gorgeous!

Gorgeous necklace with big pear shaped faux pearls which are a beautiful silvery colour with great lustre. Each is approx. 1 inch in drop & 1/2 inch across with gold plted filigree caps. Necklace has large links, gold plated, and secures with lobster claw. Necklace is approx.15 inches in length. Earrings are for pierced ears and feature 1 faux pearl per earring. Next a gorgeous gold plated brooch with faux pearl dangles. Faux pearls are oyster in colour and brooch has a classical lady's head in profile at the centre. Brooch is approx. 2 inches across by 3 inches in drop. Back is decorated with pattern. Slight kink in pin but still works perfectly fine. In very good to excellent condition. Price: £6.00

Beautiful Long Length Necklace with Big MOP disk at the front. Not sure if this is real or faux but beautiful nonetheless, approx. 2 1/2 inches across. Necklace is approx. 24 inches in length excluding mop dangle. Lots of rows of tiny spacers in cream and white join a few agate type beads which then join a very long shaped piece which is clear but with animal like print (Leopard). This has a few more agates at the ends and then more spacers before joining the pendant. I think the two animal panels are some kind of plastic, but not sure. Looks great in my picture but even more so in real life. In very good to excellent condition. Price: £16.00

Deco Brooch

A fantastic deco brooch which I purchased originally as being made from bakelite. It certainly looks and feels like bakelite and the top part with cut out shapes is certainly a bakelite colour, i.e. a gorgeous butterscotch colour. However, this has not been tested. The brooch is approx. 4 inches along all sides. It is approx. 1/4 inch deep made from two sheets of material, the lower being black and the upper butterscotch. Through the cut outs you can see the black. This is an old brooch so it will have some scratches, although the majority you see in the picture are actually on my scanner glass, not the brooch. It has been stored away for ages and needs a good clean, something I prefer to let the new owner do! A great deco brooch in very good vintage condition.

Luciano Soprani Necklace

A big bold necklace made from gold plated metalwork. This piece still has its original tag attached saying it is a Luciano Soprani item. I purchased this, I believe, in Italy. The necklace has a chain link length and it is approx. 18 inches in length, securing with a lobster claw clasp so it is adjustable. It has big round panels of metalwork, some tiered and other with one tier. The tiered shapes have flowers in relief at the top whilst the one tier panels have dots, tear drops and more dots in relief. These panels are slightly larger at approx. 1 1/4 inches across whilst the panels with the flowers are about 1 inch across. Each carries the designer's name on a plaque on the back. I believe this designer is no longer around. In very good to excellent condition.

Miriam Haskell Hair Clip/Decoration

A gorgeous item by Miriam Haskell. I have owned some lovely hair clips/combs previously by Haskell, but this one takes the biscuit. Never seen anything like it before! It has a faux tortoiseshell frame which is approx. 2 1/2 inches in length by 1/2 inch wide across the wavy parts. At the top it has bunches of lime green spacers, all wired into loops which form leaf shapes on stalks. This is very 3-d in appearance and is approx. 3 inches in length by over 3 inches across. These leaf shapes are all supported on the back by a metal stamping and you can move them around to suit yourself to some extent. Where they all wrap around the frame at the top there are three gorgeous silvery baroque pearls, a favourite component of Haskell, and these have gold plated caps either side and are wired into position. You can wear this in your hair, through a buttonhole perhaps, on a hat. I am sure the options are endless. A great item, signed Miriam Haskell on a plaque on the reverse side. Plaque does show metalwork which is not surprising since this is an older piece.
