A selection of Chinese polychrome, Famille-rose and 'clobbered' porcelain from the 18th.Century to the 20th.Century. (Clobbered refers to blue and white porcelain from China overpainted in coloured enamels in Europe at a later date).
Late19th.Century snuff-bottle
A porcelain Canton snuff-bottle with porcelain stopper. Decorated with a floral pattern on a gilt ground. Good condition, no cracks or chips.
A porcelain underglaze blue Ming style, painted bottle-vase. Decorated with overglaze pink, light-blue, yellow and iron-red enamels. A four-character mark for Chenghua to base.In good condition, no cracks, chips or restoration. (but slight kiln-firing fault to glaze)
An 19th.Century plate decorated with birds on prunus blossom on a yellow ground, floral sprays to reverse. This dish has a small restored chip to reverse side of rim.
A Canton decorated footed-bowl decorated in Famille-rose enamels, with two figures on a raft within a floral border. Fair condition, two restored small frits to rim face only, no cracks.
A porcelain bowl, decorated with panels of birds on flowering branches on a green lotus scroll yellow ground. Repaired hairline and associated chip to rim. Made 19th. Century, red painted seal mark to base for Guangxu.
An underglaze blue baluster shaped porcelain vase. Decorated later with overglaze iron-red, two-tone green, yellow and gilt enamels. In good gereral condition, but very small restored chip and hairline to mouth. No other damage. Base with a spurious iron-red mark.
A Canton decorated vase with underglaze blue and white 'vase and flowers and two precious objects' on a celadon and Famille-rose ground of flowers and insects and birds.This vase hase some sealed hairline cracks to mouth and body, otherwise in good condition. Made in the mid-19th.Century.
Late 19th.to early 20th.century pair of censers decorated in bright enamels with figures and a floral pattern, moulded and pierced covers with fu-dog finials. Damaged and repaired.
A 18th.Century underglaze blue winecup, decorated later with over-glazed green, iron-red, yellow and gilt enamels.In good original condition, no faults. Spurious iron-red mark to base.
