Chinese 20th.Century ceramics. 20th.Century Chinese decorative retro Export ceramics of mainly Jingdezhen production. Covering the late QING(1875-1916)period. EARLY REPUBLIC(1917-35)period,LATE REPUBLIC(1935-49)period.EARLY PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA(1949-1966)period, CULTURAL REVOLUTION(1967-76)period, and the Late PROC(1976-1995)period. During all this time the decoration can include transfer printing and stencil as well as hand-painting, sometimes a combination. (Underglaze or overglaze.) The period of the first half of the 20th.Century is an area becoming more collectable.
Large vase A large porcelain floor-vase, made Jingdezhen c1970,decorated with Peacocks on rockwork and peonies, with calligraphy.
