Japanese Kutani export porcelain of the Meiji period and mostly of the 'red and gilt' type.(1868-1911).
19th.Century pair of vases
A pair of porcelain vases with elephant head handles, decorated in iron-red, black, green and gilt enamels. In good condition, but one very small restored chip to mouth rim.
Pair of Kutani vases, decorated with flowers in iron-red, black and gilt on a orange-red/gilt ground. Signed to base.Made late 19th.Century. One vase in good condition, with no faults, the other with some repaired damage.
A late 19th.Century covered coffee pot. Decorated with dancing figures on a iron-red ground. 'Fuku' happiness mark to base. In good original condition, no faults.
A porcelain vase decorated in iron-red, coloured enamels and gilt with moulded handles. In good condition but a faint short hairline, to mouth.Signed to base.
A Kutani porcelain koro with lion finial and lion-head handles, decorated in enamels and gilt. Made late Meiji period and in good general condition, but some slight repaired damage to the finial. Signed.
