This auction is for a good quality piece of late Victorian or early Edwardian design, . The mirror is oval in shape, with a nice carved outer border to the frame as shown The glass has a beautiful bevelled outer edge to the glass mirrored section. There are no large areas of silvering on the glass that I can see ( maybe ta few very tiny flecks ) as shown and as the glass is original this is really good after 100 plus years.. All the joints are tight and secure, a good and very tidy mirror. The only faults I found are all on the very outside edge of the mirror where it has has a few small bruises and just the slight scratches showing use over the years but nothing major. It measures approx 31 inches across by 20.5 inches deep, and weighs just over 6.5 kgs A good old piece, basically original condition . This is an antique mirror of approx 100 years old , please do not expect the finish of a brand new mirror as there are always small defects The hooks for hanging the mirror are secure and the chain is secure also, so ready for hanging .
