| Georgian Mahogany Dining Table This especially attractive George III dining table opens out using the fold-down leaves. The legs are of a slender ring-turned design, which makes the proportions of the table rather elegant. Looking at the grain you’ll notice a very handsome configuration in the wood, testament to the older, slow-growing mahogany of 200 years ago. The colour is a rich dark chestnut with a deep French polished finish. Designed for dining in comfort, the table extended will seat six persons easily. And with convenience in mind, you can fold the table down and store it against a wall taking up only 17 inches in depth. In overall very good condition, the table bears only minor scuffs and knocks in keeping with a piece its age. There is one just visible and very professionally executed repair to the corner of one of the leaves, but to be honest if you didn’t know it was there you’d never notice it. For my money, an elegant and practical piece of antique furniture. £250.00 You are most welcome to contact me with any inquiry, including delivery to your home on 01903 743966 or email arthur@excelwithme.co.uk Size: Length 39ins x Height 28ins x Width 17ins closed/52ins open |
